Human Rights Day Celebration

To mark the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), NSS Unit, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized an “Innovative Calendar Making Competition” on the theme-Freedom, Equality and Justice for all on 10th December 2023.
10 December marks the anniversary of one of the world's most groundbreaking global pledges: the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). This landmark document enshrines the inalienable rights that everyone is entitled to as a human being - regardless of race, colour, religion, sex, language, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status.
Prof. (Dr.) Seema Shukla addressed the students and said Human Rights allow humans to live with dignity as Human Rights are inalienable. She told human right include freedom from slavery and torture, the right to life and liberty, , freedom of opinion and expression, the right to work and education, and many more.
All the participants were told about the rules, submission guidelines, and criteria for judging beforehand. The students participated in the competition enthusiastically and expressed their thoughts. All the participants gave their ideas for the protection of human rights on paper.
