INTERACTIVE SESSION WITH COURSE INSTRUCTOR Dr. Sameer Sahasrabudhe
(IITBOMBAYX COURSE: BASIC 3D ANIMATION USING BLENDER)

IIT BombayX, an initiative designed and developed at IIT Bombay and powered by Open edX has developed a 7 - week interactive and online MOOC on Basic 3D Animation using open-source tool 'Blender' for skill development of students aspiring to learn and make a career in the domain of animation and multimedia.
A one - hour interactive session was scheduled in this regard with the Course Instructor and Senior Project Research Scientist, Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Bombay, Dr. Sameer Sahasrabudhe on 11th February 2016 from 3:00PM to 4:00PM through ICT. The objective of the session was to solve specific queries of students participating or willing to participate in the course and to encourage more people to register for this course. Colleges from all over India participated in the event. Mr. Subhrajit Nag - HOD (IT), Mr. Manoj Kr. Yadav - HOD (CSE) along with faculty members students of CSE and IT branch participated in the interactive session conducted at Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida remotely through A - view.
Dr. Sameer Sahasrabudhe took up various questions from the colleges during the session and solved their queries. Dr. Sahasrabudhe assured that the course was not only for students with fine arts or media background but also for engineering students having a flair for game designing or animation. He further said that projects of previous batches would be made available on IITBombayX site before start of the course and research guidance will be provided to participants in the very introductory part of the course.
Participants from all over India benefitted from this query session and the event ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. Sahasrabudhe.
