The first round was a 45 mins test which was divided into 2 sections of Aptitude and Technical questions. The test was designed in such a manner as to test the IQ and Technical expertise of the students. The students wracked their brains about various technical glitches and tried to overcome them.
The students from various colleges like DGI - GN, DCE GGN, IEM - Bhopal, IIMT, Greater Noida etc. participated in this campus.
Mr. Sumit Varlani Sr. Manager HR and Ms. Swati from the operation TEAM , along with their senior trainer Mr. Mukul Chadopadhya from Manya Group visited the premises to conduct the event.
The first round was the company's presentation in which Mr. Varlani ran the students through the overview of the company's presentation. He told the students about the job profile very explicitly and also advised them of the career graph. He also, explained the students about working culture and what are the expectations they have from the new entrants. He was very clear on the point that the company is looking for self - driven people as the brand value of Princeton Review is at stake.
The second round was a group discussion in which they were divided in the group of 10 each and were asked to brain wrack on the topic given by the HR. The main aim was to see the confidence amongst the prospective hires.
All the students who cleared the second round went through a written test of an hour which mainly comprised of Maths and English. The English was all subjective test. It was a hard nut to crack as the level was equivalent to CAT and GMAT tests.
The next level was the most difficult for any fresher. All the students shortlisted after the written test, were asked to give a demo on the presentation skills. They were asked to pick any topic of their choice and present in front of panel. There were cross questioning on that as well from the veterans who have been in the business since long. The students show cased their talents and presentation skills in this round.
Only 5 students could clear this demo round. But this was not the last hurdle to crack to get the LOI from the company. The last and the final round was a Personal Interview in front of the panelist.
They were again assessed on the criteria of flexibility. After a full day's activity the students the following students were selected for the said profiles:
1. Juhi Malhotra - B.Tech IT
2. Tarun Taneja - B.Tech ME
3. Shivang Bharadwaj - B.Tech ME
