Pre-Republic Day Parade Camp (Central Zone)-2023

20th - 29th November 2023

Two NSS volunteers Sunidhi Tomar (3^rd Year CSE Branch) and Richa Yadav (3^rd Year CSE Branch) from Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida  attended a ten day NSS-Pre-Republic Day parade camp at Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya in Haridwar, Uttarakhand from 20^th - 29^th  November 2023.

The inauguration program was held which was graced by Mrs. Rekha Arya (Cabinet Minister of Uttarakhand) and Mr. A.S Kabir (Regional Director of NSS). During the camp, NSS volunteers followed a rigorous regimen from morning 5 a.m to 9.30 p.m daily comprising of various activities like yoga, parade practice, academic session, cultural event. etc. Volunteers were also taken for an educational tour to Rishikesh and Haridwar.

Namami Gange Certification Program was held on the theme of national aquatic animals. Mr. Kaushal Kishore (Kendriya Rajya Mantri) also made a visit to camp and delivered a speech on Nasha Mukti campaign and administered a pledge on Nasha Mukt Bharat.

On the last day, parade selection was done for Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand and cultural selection was also done.
