Industrial Visit to "AL Waste Bio-Remediation LLP"

Dronacharya Group of Institution, Greater Noida organized an industrial visit for Engineering and MBA students to “AL Waste Bio- Remediation LLP, Greater Noida” on “18th May, 2023.” 20 students under the supervision of Dr. Priya Satsangi (Associate Professor, HOD, MBA) and Dr. Sahab Singh (Associate Professor, MBA Deptt.) went for the visit.
The objective of the industrial visit was to give an intense knowledge and live procedure of the company to the students.
Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has always emphasized on SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAN. In line with the mission, DGI took the step forward in bringing awareness in the students by making them understand the ground realities of the mission.
Mr. Ravi (Project Manager) whole heartedly welcomed the students and introduced the company to the students. He briefed students about the process of company, along with the HR rules, finance, and got them introduced to heads of the various departments. He also highlighted that it is a Private limited company, which began its operations in 2005 and caters its operations into Waste Management. He also told AL Waste Handling Cell Ltd. is one of the largest companies in managing garbage, by taking 2nd position all over India. The company has total six wings of operations; garbage management is one of them.
DGI students got a chance to visit all the departments beginning from garbage collecting unit, to segregation unit and finally testing. The company has a tie-up with JK cement for utilizing RDF waste. The students got an opportunity to interact with the whole team of AL Waste Bio- Remediation LLP. All the students were very excited to see the whole process of garbage and also asked inquisitive questions. Following the presentation, students were taken on a tour of the company, visiting the segregating units of various waste materials. The students were given a detailed explanation of how the garbage is utilized in best possible way, along with its distribution through logistics.
During the industrial visit, the students learned about the new ways of managing the waste and took a pledge to create awareness among youth and society, which enhanced the confidence level of the students.
It was an exciting and enlightening experience for the students and a privilege to meet one of the real warriors of the country.
