Observance of "Anti-Terrorism Day"

NSS Unit of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida observed “Anti-Terrorism Day” on 21st May, 2023 in order to commemorate the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. The main objective behind this day was to discourage away the youth from terrorism and the cult of violence by highlighting the suffering of common people and showing how prejudicial it is to the National interest.
Speaking on the occasion, NSS Coordinator Dr. Mamta Bhardwaj enlightened the students about all forms of terrorism and aroused a feeling that they must adopt a zero tolerance approach towards it. She highlighted the sufferings of common people and expressed her views how even a small act of violence and terror affects and instills not only an individual but the generations after and connected society and nation’s growth and progress. The lecture was then followed by mass pledge by the students and staff against the terrorism.She laid emphasis upon promoting and spreading democratic values and integration amongst the students of DGI. Through her speech, she motivated the students to be attentive about this practice. She also urged the students to spread the good words outside the college campus also.
