Aon Hewitt Pre Placement Preparatory Session

A Pre Placement Talk for Aon Hewitt was organized in Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida onFebruary 3rd, 2015. The target audience was B. Tech CSE/IT/ECE and MCA batch 2015. The actual placement activity is schedule on February 6th , 2015.
Ms. Prakirti Prakhar, Ms. Aarshi Jain and Mr. Shrey Sharma from Aon Hewitt (All DGI alumni) visited the premises for the same. Alumni are the strongest link of our college and meeting with our dear old students always bring a moment of nostalgia. From the green tiny sapling, the alumni become a shade giving tree and they always soothe their juniors in the same shade.
These students started off with sharing their experience of the last year Aon placement. They shared their nervousness, skepticalness and anxiety before the drive.
The alumni stared with sharing the job description and the concept of the profile. They told in and out about Aon and the fact that why every young Technocrat want to be a part of this global enterprise.
The next they discussed was the hiring procedure of the company. They discussed the importance of Group Discussion and the tips to crack the same. They told the students that it is good to speak loudly but it is bad to shout. The person should be a leader to take the conversation in his/her own hands and at the same time be a TEAM player. The next round is a Psychometric test. They emphasized the fact that this round is to gauge the Interpersonal Style, Conflict Style and the Leadership Style within an individual. At the same time it also emphasize the stress management technique of the students and this is a round in which major elimination takes place.
The third round is Technical in nature in which various concepts of Software Engineering, Testing and DBMS are asked. In this round they also have various puzzles been asked so as to know the IQ of the students.
The fourth and the final round is a HR round.
The alumni also shared the questions asked from them at their time of Aon interview and the way to tackle the counter question of the Technical and the HR personnel. They unravelled the tips of writing a healthy resume.
In the end it was the time for question and answers. It was a very interactive session and the students had lot of take aways from the session.
