Faculty Development Programme
NIESBUD, Noida

A three day “Faculty Development Programme” was organized by NIESBUD in collaboration with Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Entrepreneurs during 25th - 27th February 2015 at its regional office A-23, Sector-62, Noida. Dr. Sahab Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Management Studies in Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida attended the FDP.
The objective of this workshop was to address the specific needs, challenges, and opportunities faced by entrepreneurs and to impart the necessary knowledge over entrepreneurship by delivering maximum know how about the policies of State and Central Governments to strengthen the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises by bringing stakeholders of MSME sector, NGO, Academic Institutions, Incubation Centers etc. on a common platform. About 20 people from various sectors have attended this program.
Mr. H P Singh, Faculty of NIESBUD,taught the benefits, step by step process and principles of becoming an entrepreneur. He discussed a policies which are helpful in accelerating entrepreneurship in India.
Mr. Tribhuvan Nath Paten, Officer, District Information Centre, discussed the procedure of applying to avail the facilities of several Government sponsored Schemes and shared the valuable information about the organizations which help in getting registration, subsidy and grants provided by the Government in setting up an enterprise in India. He asked the participants to take benefits of the policies of MSMEs and to make youth generation skilled.
On the second day of the training, planning of NIESBUD and MSME was discussed, followed by the action plan of Government for spreading the awareness to achieve the excellence in entrepreneurship.
This high impact workshop was the augmentation to starting a journey for every new person to become self-employed and to make others employable in this competent globe. NIESBUD faculties have covered all relevant key topics that make us enable to lay the foundation of our future enterprise through this plenary session. All those who attended this workshop, will now be capable and competent in reaping the opportunities and to overcome the challenges which are the part in an entrepreneurial life.
The event came to an end with awarding certificates on the successful completion of Faculty Development Program and closing remarks of Ms. Shikha Oberoi, Faculty of NIESBUD that this certification will help institutions in developing first generation entrepreneurs, youths for opting entrepreneurship as their career option and allow them to avail the benefits of Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) and Rajiv Gandhi Udyami Mitra Yojna (RGUMY) Schemes.
