Day 1: 23rd May 2016
Mr. Siddarth Bhatt, Senior Trainer at CRISP Bhopal conducted an online pretest to assess the cognitive level of the participants. He started his technical session on "Introduction of Redundant Network". He focused on the issues faced during the implementation of Redundant Network. He also described various protocols like IEEE 802.1D STP, PVST+ and Rapid PVST for solving various issues with Redundant Network. During the practical session, he used Cisco IOS Commands to verify HSRP and GLBP implementations.
Day 2: 24th May 2016
Mr. Siddarth Bhatt started his technical session on "Link Aggregation" and explained the operation of link aggregation in a switched LAN environment. He focused on Ether - Channel Technology and its configuration for improving performance on high - traffic switch links. During the practical session, he demonstrated the verification of Ether - Channel and troubleshooting link aggregation with Ether - Channel.
Day 3: 25th May 2016
Mr. Bhatt delivered a lecture on "Introduction of Wireless LAN Concepts" and focused on Wireless LAN Technology, its standards and components of a Wireless LAN Infrastructure.
During post lunch session, he further demonstrated the Wireless LAN Security Mechanisms, Media Contention method used by Wireless Technology, Channel Management in a WLAN and the various threats to wireless LANs. In the practical session he implemented Wireless LAN's operations, Security and its troubleshooting of common wireless configuration issues using CISCO packet tracer.
Day 4: 26th May 2016
Mr. Bhatt started the technical session on "Single Area OSPF". He focused that the five types of network: Point - to - point, Broadcast Multi - access, Non - Broadcast Multiple Access (NBMA), Point - to - multipoint, and Virtual Link defined by Open Shortest Path First (OSPF). He further demonstrated on "Advance of OSPF Routing protocol" with its implementation and troubleshooting in OSPF implementations using CISCO packet tracer. He also focused on Multi-area OSPF and its configurations.
During the lab session, he demonstrated that how OSPF established neighbor adjacencies in a multi - area OSPF implementation. After the practical session, an online test of Wireless LAN was conducted.
Day 5: 27th May 2016
Mr. Bhatt delivered a lecture on Characteristics of Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), its Configuration for Ipv4 & Ipv6. He said that EIGRP is an advanced distance vector routing protocol and uses the Diffusing Update Algorithm (DUAL) to calculate paths and back - up paths. He conducted practical to configure routing on various routers using EIGRP protocol. He delivered a lecture on Advanced EIGRP Configurations. Through practical he explained, how to do manual summarization, how to propagate a default route in an EIGRP network and how to modify EIGRP interface setting to improve network performance. After the practical session, online tests for Single Area OSPF and Multi Area OSPF were conducted.
Day 6: 28th May 2016
Mr. Siddarth Bhatt started technical session on "Releases of IOS and Its Licensing Process". He also explained that the routers and switches comes with the evaluation license, known as a temporary license, for most packages and features supported on the specified router for customer review. After the practical session, he demonstrated on licensing, an online test for EIGRP, Advanced EIGRP and final exam of first unit were conducted.
Day 7: 29th May 2016
Mr. Bhatt conducted an online pretest to assess the cognitive level of the participants for the IV module. He delivered a lecture on WAN Technologies. He also described the purpose of a WAN and its operations. He also included the examples like consumers communicate over the Internet with banks, stores, and a variety of goods and services providers. He also discussed the Virtual Private Network which provides security over public infrastructure connections. He also explained the fundamentals of point - to - point serial communication across a WAN and its operations.
After the end of session, an online test of hierarchical network was conducted.
Day 8: 30th May 2016
Mr. Siddarth Bhatt delivered a lecture on "Fundamental concepts of Frame Relay Technology", which included its operations, implementation requirements, maps and Local Management Interface (LMI) operations. He focused on the advanced concepts of Frame Relay Technology. Further he demonstrated the basic configuration of Frame Relay Permanent Virtual Circuit (PVC) and its troubleshooting.
After the practical session, an online test of WAN Technologies was conducted.
Mr. Bhatt delivered a lecture on Network Address Translation (NAT) Operation and its characteristics in which he explained that the NAT conserves public address space and saves considerable administrative overhead in managing adds, moves and changes.
During the lab session, he configured the static NAT, dynamic NAT, Port Address Translation (PAT), port forwarding and NAT64 using the CLI with the help of CISCO Packet Tracer.
After the practical session, an online exam of Point to Point connection was conducted.
Day 9: 1st June 2016
Mr. Siddarth Bhatt explained the benefits of Teleworking Solutions. He also explored the various broadband solutions used by telecommuters and branch office workers.
During the lab session, he configured and verified a basic Point - to - Point Protocol (PPP) over Ethernet connection on a client router.
After the practical session, an online test of Frame Relay was conducted.
Mr. Bhatt focused on the benefits of VPN Technology and described site - to - site and remote access VPNs. He explained that the VPNs are used to create an end-to-end private network connection over third - party networks, such as the Internet or extranets. At the end of the session, an online test of Network Address Translation was conducted.
Day 9: 1st June 2016
Mr. Sidharth Bhatt delivered an introductory lecture on Syslog, SNMP and Net - Flow. In that he explained that Syslog, SNMP and Net - Flow are the tools which are used by network administrator in a modern network to manage the collection, display, and analysis of events associated with the networking devices. He also explained how network documentation is developed and used to troubleshoot network issues. He further demonstrated the troubleshooting tools which are used to gather and analyze symptoms of network problems and determines the symptoms and causes of network problems using a layered model.
At the end of session, an online test of Monitoring the Network, Troubleshooting the network and Final Exam of 4th module were conducted.
