QUIZ COMPETITION

(In Observance of National Voters Day)

25th January, 2017

With an objective to motivate young voters for ethical voting and inculcate the feeling of Nationality, NSS Wing of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized a Quiz Competition in commemoration of National Voters Day on 25th January 2017 at Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida.

While addressing the participants, Prof. (Dr.) S.K. Bagga, Director, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noidaemphasized the significance of National Voters Day and value of casting one’s vote in a democratic country.

Prof. B.L Kaul, Registrar, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, said that the theme of NVD 2017 is‘Ethical Voting’ reiterating the commitment towards reaching out to the last voter and promoting informed and ethical voting. He said that the new voters would be provided with a badge with its logo "Proud to be a Voter - Ready to Vote”.

Dr. Sunil Kumar Mishra, Associate Professor & Coordinator of the Quiz Competition said that no voters should be left behind and citizens should continue to strengthen electoral democracy with fresh resolve on the occasion of National Voter’s Day.

The students, faculty and staff members took a pledge for ethical voting on this occasion.

Gold Medal: Shiv Kumar Arora, CSE-III Sem.

Silver Medal: Shri Prakash Sharma, CSE-III Sem.

Bronze Medal: Krishna Kumar Yadav, CSE II Sem.
