National Seminar on Continuity of Indian Identity

Two students Adarsh Kumar (11264) and Madhwesh Upadhyay (11045) from Applied Sciences & Humanities Department along with faculty member Dr. Sunil K. Mishra of Dronacharya Group of Institutions (DGI), Greater Noida attended a two-day “National Seminar on Continuity of Indian Identity” at Conference Centre, University of Delhi, Delhi from 14th to 15th January 2017.
The seminar was organised by Arundhati Vashishtha Anusandhan Peeth with an objective to identify the continuity of Indian identity in diverse fields of human action and endeavour.
Inaugurating the seminar, the Chief-Guest Mr. Subramanian Swami discussed the remedies through which people can restructure national life based on conciliatory holistic and integral consciousness. Another renowned personality Mr. Subhash Kashyap shared, in modern times, fragmentation of personality, social conflicts, environmental degradation and many other problems are inflicting us owing to consumerist culture which has developed on the ground of imported ideologies; further he suggested how people can remain integrated as a Nation.
During the seminar other eminent intellectuals like Dr. Aniruddha Deshpande, Prof. Kalplata Pandey, Prof. Om Prakash Singh, Dr. Pramod Dubey, Prof B.L. Gupta, Prof. A.P. Pandey also disseminated their views on various sub-themes of the seminar like cultural continuity of Indian identity, Indian identity in Science and Technology, the concept of physical, psychological and intellectual richness in making India developed..
Overall, the seminar was relevant, informative and successfully injected the spirit of Nationalism.
