Visit to - Auto Expo 2023

Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized a visit to “Auto Expo- The Motor Show, 2023” held at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida on 17th January, 2023. 40 students along with 2 Faculty members Mr. Ashish Kukreti and Mr. Manoj Kumar went to witness the latest technologies exhibited at the Auto Expo, 2023.
The objective to organize visit was to make student aware about the research and development going in the automobile sector, to acquire knowledge about the latest automobile parts, to observe the modifications in the materials as well as design criteria.
Auto-Expo 2023 was organized during 11th - 18th January, 2023. It is the largest show for the auto industry in the country, highlighting new technologies, R&D, sustainable indigenous solutions, and more. Auto Expo, 2023 was one of the world’s premier auto shows and a signature event that witnessed the best minds coming together on a single platform to showcase all that was best in the automobile world, in terms of products, technologies, concepts and trends. It was a window for technical knowledge transfer as it exhibited how the automakers were absorbing newer technologies and promoting home-grown research and development to adapt technology that suited the rugged Indian conditions.
All the participating companies showcased their competition skills at the show. Auto Expo-The Motor Show was held after a gap of three years with 75 new launches. Maruti Jimny, Fronx, Tata Curvv, Sierra, Harrier EV, Mahindra Thar, Force Gurkha, the next-generation Kia Carnival, the MG Air EV, Tata Punch EV, Eicher unveiled India’s longest 13.5 m electric Intercity Coach and the Eicher Pro 2049 electric 4.9 T GVW truck, and Hyundai's Ioniq5 were among the vehicles that were launched at the auto expo.
Along with the display, the Auto-Expo 2023 included Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality experiences, a gaming center, a vintage car collection, book stalls, an art and craft activity, and much more. It had engines ready for the Bharat Stage VI, displayed by several manufacturers. It also displayed EV car modules, a cut-section for presenting the working of a multi-cylinder engine, motorboat engine, tyres, filters, and various other accessories. For the entertainment purpose, some companies had organized physical exercise sessions, painting activity and fun activities for kids. Students got the opportunity to learn about the new technologies and they gained a great experience by becoming a part of Auto Expo-The motor show.
