Debate Competition on "National Youth Day"

Institution Innovation Council (IIC), Ministry of Education (MoE), Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized a debate competition under the theme “Make the Optimum Utilization of Youth for Prosperous Tomorrow!” on the occasion of “National Youth Day”. The topic for debate competition was "Role of Youth in Nation Building."  41 students from 1^st and 2^nd year participated in the competition.

The day is observed to celebrate the birth anniversary of India's great philosopher and thinker Swami Vivekananda. 

The main objective to organize the competition was to motivate the technocrats through the life and ideas of Swami Vivekananda.

Debate competition gave students a platform to hone the public speaking skills and express while conveying their thoughts. All the students were very thrilled and came forward with creative ideas. Their thought process and narration of content was excellent. The session also aimed at the display of views, beliefs and perspective that enhanced the knowledge and understanding about the stated topic.

Event was anchored by Shatakshi Shekhar (1^st year) and coordinated by Srishti Mittal and Diksha Vaid (2^nd year). Judge for the event was Dr. Shailesh Kumar Singh, (HOD, ME Department) and Dr. Mamta Bhardwaj (Associate Professor, APS Department).

All the students enthusiastically participated in the competition and the winner was awarded with certificate of achievement.
