Session on Gate Preparation on "Compiler + TOC"

Computer Science and Engineering Department, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized Gate preparation session on “Compiler + TOC” for 3rd year CSE/IT/CSIT/CSE (AIML) students on 3rd January 2023. Dr. Ashish Sharma was the speaker of the session.
The objective session was to provide third-year students with in-depth knowledge and strategies to excel in these crucial topics for the GATE examination.
Dr. Sharma began by explaining the fundamental concepts of Compiler Design, including the various phases of a compiler, lexical analysis, syntax analysis, semantic analysis, intermediate code generation, and optimization techniques. Moving to Theory of Computation, he covered essential topics such as finite automata, context-free grammars, Turing machines, and decidability, emphasizing their significance in problem-solving and algorithm design. Dr. Sharma also shared tips and strategies for effectively tackling GATE questions related to these subjects.
The session was highly interactive, with Dr. Sharma addressing queries from students and clarifying complex concepts with practical examples. He provided study resources, practice problems, and insights into the GATE exam pattern to help students prepare effectively.
