Celebration of Makar Sankranti and Lohri as a part of
Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat
13th - 14th January 2023
NSS wings, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida celebrated Makar Sankranti and Lohri as a part of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat on 13th - 14th January 2023. Faculty members and students enthusiastically participated in the celebration.
The main objective behind the celebration was to celebrate the unity in diversity of our nation and to promote the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.
To celebrate the festivals everyone came in traditional attire. The celebration began with a speech by director highlighting the importance of the festivals.
After the speech everyone moved towards ground. The holy fire was blown in college ground. The students and faculty members sang songs immersed in rich cultural folklore of Punjab around the fire.
After that everyone enjoyed peanuts, revari and popcorns. Festival was celebrated with a lot of exuberance and fanfare.
