Developing a Career Action Plan: From Education to Employment

Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida in collaboration with Nextgen organized a workshop on “Developing a Career Action Plan: From Education to Employment” on 22^nd November 2022. 71 students attended the workshop. Ms. Soni Pathak Singh (Trainer) from Nextgen was the keynote speaker of the workshop.

The objective of the workshop was to guide students in creating a structured and actionable plan for successful transition from their academic journey to professional employment

The event commenced with a warm welcome by Ms. Richa Jaiswal, TPO of DGI, who introduced Ms. Soni Pathak Singh and presented her with a token of appreciation. Ms. Soni began the session by emphasizing the importance of setting clear career goals and aligning educational pursuits with professional aspirations.

 Some of the topics explained by Ms. Soni included identifying strengths and interests, exploring career options, building a professional network, and acquiring the skills necessary for employment in a competitive job market. Ms. Soni highlighted the role of internships, certifications, and extracurricular activities in enhancing employability.

The workshop incorporated interactive activities and group discussions, allowing students to map out their career action plans and receive personalized guidance. Ms. Soni also shared real-world examples and success stories to inspire students and motivate them to take proactive steps toward their career goals.

The workshop motivated students to take charge of their career paths with a clear understanding of the steps required to achieve their ambitions.
