Workshop on "Four Stroke IC Engine Assembly"

Institution’s Innovation Council, (Ministry of Education (MoE), under the banner of the SAEINDIA Collegiate Club, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized a hands on workshop on “Four Stroke IC Engine Assembly” on 19^th October 2023. All students of Mechanical Engineering Department registered for the workshop and enthusiastically attended the workshop at Bosch Lab.

Mr. Deepak Kumar (Assistant Professor and SAE Member) coordinated the workshop under the supervision of Dr. Shailesh Kumar Singh (HOD, M.E. Dept.)

The objective of the workshop was to impart practical knowledge regarding the operation of a four-stroke internal combustion engine and to foster proficiency in the disassembly and assembly of four-stroke engine components and assemblies.

The session commenced with a fundamental introduction to the Internal Combustion Engine (IC Engine) and its various components. A hands-on session focused on a four-stroke petrol engine, which involved disassembling the engine in the initial phase and subsequently reassembling the components at the conclusion. Throughout the session, there was a detailed demonstration and discussion of different components within a four-stroke engine, all with the aim of enriching the practical understanding of an IC engine.
