Exhibition cum Poster Presentation
14th - 15th April 2023
Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida in collaboration with the Mechanical Engineering Department organized an “Exhibition cum Poster Presentation” for Final year students of Mechanical Engineering Department on 14th & 15th April, 2023. Dr. Bishub Choudhary (Assistant Professor, DGI) was the coordinator of the event. The competition took place at Automation Lab.
The objective of the event was to foster a spirit of creativity and to encourage students to demonstrate their designs by way of posters and real time projects.
Day 1: 14th April, 2023
The first day of the competition was very engaging, with a specific focus on poster presentations. Each project team created informative and visually appealing posters that summarized their projects concisely. The posters were displayed prominently alongside the corresponding projects.
Students and the faculty had the opportunity to engage with the students, asking questions about their projects and the underlying engineering principles. The poster presentations allowed for in-depth discussions and knowledge-sharing.
The faculty members of DGI evaluated the projects based on innovation, practicality, and technical proficiency. Students were motivated to excel further in their mechanical engineering endeavours.
The posters displayed by the students were very impressive. The visual aids provided concise summaries of each project. The posters were not only informative but were also visually appealing.
Day 2: 15th April, 2023
On the second day, students displayed wide array of projects, ranging from cutting-edge research to practical applications of mechanical engineering principles. Some of the notable exhibits included:
Automated Manufacturing Line: A team of students demonstrated an automated manufacturing line that showcased the integration of robotics and precision machining, emphasizing efficiency and accuracy in production.
Green Energy Solutions: Another group focused on sustainable energy solutions, presenting a prototype of a solar-powered mechanical water pump designed for rural areas, highlighting the importance of renewable energy sources.
Robotics and Automation: A team of students showcased their prowess in robotics by exhibiting a series of robots capable of tasks like picking and placing objects and even a robot designed for educational purposes.
Innovative Vehicle Design: A standout project was an innovative electric vehicle prototype, highlighting advancements in battery technology and energy-efficient transportation.
Overall, the two-day exhibition cum poster presentation by Mechanical Engineering students showcased the immense talent and potential. The exhibition played a vital role in preparing students for real-world engineering challenges while inspiring them to continue pushing the boundaries of Mechanical Engineering.
