Understanding your rights: Employee Laws & HR Best Practices

To celebrate National Labour Day, Department of Management Studies, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized a session on the topic "Understanding your rights: Employee Laws & HR Best Practices " on 1^st May 2024. DGI Alumnus (MBA first batch) Mr. Kuldeep Kumar (Commercial Manager -TVS Motor Company) was the keynote speaker of the session.  

The objective of the session was to educate MBA students about the fundamental principles of labour laws and HR practices and enhance their understanding of employee rights, workplace ethics and employer responsibilities.

Prof. (Dr.) Ritu Soryan (HOD, MBA) welcomed Mr. Kuldeep Kumar and gave brief introduction about him. Mr. Kuldeep started the session by sharing his insights and expertise on the subject. He then provided an overview of essential labor laws, employee rights, and employer responsibilities, emphasizing their importance in fostering a fair and supportive work environment.

Moving further he also highlighted HR strategies how HR policies can be structured to create inclusive and supportive workplaces that empower employees to perform their best.

In the end students clarify their doubts and engage in meaningful discussions, making the experience both educational and engaging.

Overall event was impactful highlighting the importance of empowering the workforce and ensuring their rights.
