Smart India Hackathon (Success Story Session)

Technoob Team (Winners of SIH, 2023, Senior Software Edition) of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida were invited by AICTE to share their success story at AICTE Delhi office on 25^th January, 2024. The full session was recorded in a view to maintain file record and success stories of Winners. Grand Finale, Senior Software Edition was held at Madurai, Tamil Nadu between 19^th – 20^th December, 2023, where Dronacharya Group of Institutions was one of the finalist participants under the team name Technoob.

Smart India Hackathon is a nationwide initiative to provide students with a platform to solve some of the social problems that are faced in daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem-solving. Students shared their experience of the whole journey of Smart India Hackathon. They said; the coding continued round the clock and continued the whole night without stop, had yoga session in the morning followed by breakfast. The coding continued and ended only at the end of the 19^th.

Dr. Aadarsh Malviya accompanied the team members. Aditya Pal (Team Leader) initiated the success story followed by all the participants involving themselves in the discussion. The problem handled by Team Technoob: Using existing CCTV network for crowd management, crime prevention, and work monitoring using AIML. Problem ID: 1349, Team ID : 4064. The problem statement was provided by Ministry of Railway, Central Government of India. The team provided a feasible solution to the problem and emerged as the winners.
