Celebration on "National Girl Child Day"

Women Development Cell and NSS Unit of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized a “PowerPoint Presentation Competition” on the topic “Prominent Women in Engineering & Management and Their Achievements” on the occasion of "National Girl Child Day” on 24^th January, 2023. 30 students from 1^st and 2^nd year participated in the competition.  

The event started with the motivating speech by Prof. (Dr.) Ritu Soryan (WDC Head.) She highlighted several key points that everyone should follow to raise awareness in the community about the protection of the girl child. She emphasized, this awareness would lead to positive change and contribute to the upliftment of girls and women in society. Additionally, she encouraged all the female participants to work towards the importance of educating the girl child. Her powerful speech inspired and motivated all participants.

Afterwards all the participants presented comprehensive and informative presentations. The competition was judged by Prof. Sanghamitra V. Arora and Dr. Vandana Pareek on the basis of pre intimated criteria: communication and engagement, comprehension, clarity of art work, originality and creativity.

The winners of the competition were awarded with certificates.
