Workshop on Internet of Things using Arduino

IEEE student chapter, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida conducted a Workshop on “Internet of Things using Arduino” on 18^th January, 2024. This session was attended by 23 students of ME/ECE/ECZ branches. The experts of the workshop were Dr. Kamal Deep and Mr. Chandrabhan of ECE Dept.

The workshop was conducted in two sessions.

Session Time:

• Session I: 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM
• Session II:1:05 PM to 3:15 PM

By the end of the workshop, students were able to grasp the following:

• Learn the basics of Internet of Things and its applications.
• Learn about Arduino Board layout and Architecture.
• Programming fundamentals of Arduino IDE Open-Microcontroller Platform.
• Learn Arduino Programming & Interface of Sensors
• Hands-on with Interface LED with Arduino board.
• Hands-on with interface motor using relay with Arduino.
• Hands-on withBuild your own IoT system using Arduino Uno
• Hands-on withDHT sensors to detect humidity and temperature
• Setup IoT connectivity using HS 05 Bluetooth  Module with Arduino.

Overall, the workshop added to the knowledge of the students.
