PowerPoint Presentation Making Competition
On National Youth Day

NSS Unit and Institution’s Innovation Council, Ministry of Education (MoE), Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida celebrated “National Youth Day” to commemorate the birthday of Swami Vivekananda, a great philosopher and youth icon on 12th January, 2024. National Youth Day is a significant occasion that celebrates the spirit, energy, and potential of the youth of the nation. The day served as a platform to inspire and empower the younger generation.
To enhance the celebration, a PowerPoint Presentation Making Competition was organized to provide a unique opportunity for young minds to showcase their creativity and innovation. Dr. S.K Srivastava (Registrar, DGI), Prof. Sanghamitra V Arora (HOD, ECE/ECZ/EEE and judge of the event) & Dr. Pawan Sharma (HOD, APS Dept. and Judge of event) graced the event with their presence. A Theme based Rangoli in honour of national youth day was prepared by 1st year students Akshita Sharma & her team. The anchor for the event was Ms. Anshika Jain 2nd year CSE Branch.
The PPT Presentation competition challenged participants to create compelling presentations on the topic Role of Youth in Nation Building for a better future. The competition was open to individuals and teams and encouraged collaboration and the exchange of diverse ideas. 42 entries were recorded for the competition.
Competition Guidelines were pre articulated to the participants.
- Theme: Relevance to current societal challenges or innovative solutions.
- Creativity: Effective use of visuals, graphics, and multimedia elements.
- Impact: Potential to inspire and evoke positive change.
- Presentation Skills: Clarity, coherence, and effective communication.
Judge: After a lot of hard work from the students, Prof. Sanghamitra V Arora announced the much anticipated results.
Harsh Kumar 2nd Year (CSIT Dept.) was the winner of the competition. Second position was bagged by Dev Bhargav 2nd year (CSE Dept.) and 3rd position was claimed by Ritu Chahar 1st Year (AIML Dept.). The talented students were recognized for their outstanding presentations. The competition aimed to not only celebrate National Youth Day but also to foster a culture of creativity, critical thinking, and effective communication among the youth.
