Visit to ELECRAMA-2018

   The 2018 edition of ELECRAMA is being organized by Indian  Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA) from 10th  to 14th March 2018 at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. It  is the biggest showcase of the world of electricity which brings together the  complete spectrum of solutions that powers the planet, featuring not just  equipment & technology but peerless thought leadership platforms for  everything electric-from technical conferences to industry summits. IEEMA also  organized World Utility Summit, eTECHnxt, Change Xchange 2018, Engineer  Infinite concurrently along with ELECRAMA-2018.
Students of 2nd, 3rd and 4th year and Mr.  Probeer Sahw, Mr. Raj Ranjan Prasad, Mr. Amit Jain, Mr.  Ravi Prakash Verma, Ms. Rasveen and Ms. Prity Yadav, faculties from the  Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering and Department of  Electrical & Electronics Engineering of Dronacharya Group of  Institutions, Greater Noida visited the exhibition on 12th  March 2018. 
Around 1200 organizations, including 300 foreign and 900 Indians. like  ABB India Ltd., Aditya Birla Insulators, Amtek Instruments India, Applied  Precision, Bharat Heavy Electricals, C&S Electric, Ashida Electronics,  Delta India electronics, Finolex Cables, Exide Industries, Havells India,  Hitachi, Jindal Rectifiers, Kirloskar, Panasonic, Tata Communications, L&T,  Seimens, Mitsubishi Electric India etc. displayed their product.
The exhibitions provided insight of contemporary standards and products  being used in the industry ranging from traditional products like transformers,  cables, switchgear and circuit breakers, testing equipments etc. to new age  products like smart energy solution, electric vehicle charger, power modules  etc. Apart from big industry players emerging companies also displayed their  upcoming products under Engineer Infinite like 3-D printer, virtual reality  based interface, gesture controlled robots etc.
Students got an opportunity to interact with people from the industry  and gain insight of the existing and upcoming products and services. The visit  was truly informative and interesting.
