Annual Microsoft Student Partner Summit 2017

Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani organized the “Annual Microsoft Student Partner Summit” during 28th - 30th September, 2017. 450 Microsoft Student Partners participated in the program from various institutions spread all over India. Mr. Apratim Kumar Singh, MSP (Microsoft Student Partner) 2017-2018 Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida participated in the event as a delegate.
The objective of the program was to bring together all the student partners and plan up for the upcoming sessions in each individual college. The sessions also introduced the MSPs to upcoming technologies from Microsoft.
During inaugural session Dr. Venkatesh Sarvasiddhi, Head-Microsoft Innovation Center, laid strong emphasis on the need of the coming together of MSPs and how to excel at using various technologies for the benefit of society. He also explained about the program schedule for the Summit. After the Welcome Note, the speaker focused on how to build a startup at the college level and also the way startup methodology works.
The presentation on Microsoft strategy was delivered by various key persons of Microsoft. The topics of the presentations that were made during the three days Summit were:
- Education Ecosystem and Paper Free World with Office Lens
- Infusing AI in SMS and Conversational AI Chatbot
- Introductory session on Office 365 and Hands on Session on Office 365

Technical Session on ML & BOT followed by Hack and Unity and HoloLens integration
The MSP Summit concluded with the Vote of Thanks from Mr. Vibhor Srivastava, Incharge MSP Program India on 30th September, 2017
