Industrial Visit

An industrial visit to DENSO Haryana Pvt. Ltd., Jhajjar was organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering under the aegis of SAEINDIA Collegiate Club, DGI Greater Noida for 2nd and 3rd year students on 22nd September 2017. Thirty-seven students along with two faculty members Mr. Brijesh Verma and Mr. Manik Mittal visited the unit to acquire knowledge on modern machinery in automotive sector.
Students reached DENSO Haryana Pvt. Ltd. at 10:30 AM. They were welcomed by Ms. Ruchi Arora (Deputy Manager – General Affairs) and Mr. Pankaj (HRD). An introduction about company was given by Mr. Pankaj. He welcomed that DENSO is a Japanese company which believes in discipline and equality at all level. Company has a policy to gather every morning for few minutes where they conduct prayer, narrate principles of company and give chance to every employee to come forward and contribute towards the growth of company. It follows the principle of “People before Product” which is visible from safety measures taken by the company.
Mr. Satvinder (Advisor HRD) explained the importance of road safety awareness. He showed a short video on road accident and emphasized on defensive driving rather than safe driving in today’s scenario.
For the plant visit students were divided in two groups headed by Mr. Nandan (Manager - Production) and Mr. Sandeep (DM- Production). They guided the students to various sections at the shop floor of the plant.
Visit ended with the Question & Answers Session with Mr. Praveen Bhutani (GM – Production). The hospitality provided by the company was par excellence.
